打破常规做独辟蹊径的“案侦奇兵”
王贵彬常说，“当了警察，就要敢于亮剑、善于亮剑”。2018年初，全国公安机关开展为期3年的扫黑除恶专项斗争。王贵彬主动申请加入扫黑除恶专班，与战友们在扫黑除恶一线上冲锋陷阵。

“本想用网络小额贷款帮忙度过危机，没想到债务不断增长，正常生活都没法保证了。”2018年5月，大渡口区公安分局接到群众报警，称其遭受恶意催债。通过报案人提供的“签订空白合同”“制造逾期陷阱”等关键信息，王贵彬敏锐察觉出此案并非一般的经济纠纷，很有可能涉及“套路贷”犯罪。介于全市有多起类似报案，涉案人员众多、金额巨大，分局随即成立专案组全力侦办。
经进一步侦查，专案组发现该“套路贷”犯罪集团成员大多具有金融从业经验，熟悉金融相关法律法规，且能精准把握借款人员心理，通过注册商务咨询公司等一系列操作，将诈骗犯罪伪装成“追偿权纠纷”，表现形式与典型的“套路贷”犯罪存在较大差异。
为尽快理清案件脉络，作为专案内勤的王贵彬辗转京、沪、粤、川、黔等多地，分析公司资金流水400余份，调取各类合同、委托书等各类证据300余份，核实受害人近百人，确定了该团伙组织架构、成员分工、作案手法，为专案组成员制定出详细的取证提纲，也为专案的顺利侦办奠定了基础。
2018年底，该案集中收网，一举抓获犯罪嫌疑人22名，查封房产5处、查扣车辆1台，冻结涉案资金40余万元，查扣非法资产共计544万余元。该案也成为重庆市首例成功侦破的非典型性“套路贷”案件。
勇担使命做身先士卒的“平安卫士”
“你别看他说话不紧不慢，他这个人骨子里有种‘不破此案，决不罢休’的韧劲。”和王贵彬一起办案的同事如是说。
2018年9月，有群众匿名举报家住大渡口区的何某横行霸道、欺压乡里，常有寻衅滋事的违法行为。这是一条典型的“由人到案”涉黑线索，对“是否为涉黑团伙、有哪些成员组成、具体涉及哪些案件”等情况一无所知。考虑到何某曾有犯罪前科，反侦察意识较强，若无足够证据支撑，不仅不能有效打击犯罪，反而可能助长其嚣张气焰。因此，前期查证工作是否扎实，成为了该案的关键所在。王贵彬一面和同事们进行系统走访，调查其社会背景，寻找证人；一面查阅相关出警记录和历史案件，串联线索。
一些证人因害怕遭到报复，不敢向公安机关提供真实情况，王贵彬动之以情、晓之以理，逐一耐心劝导，为其打消顾虑。经过详细的走访调查，警方最终查实了何某及其所在的恶势力犯罪团伙多起违法犯罪事实，明确了集团骨干成员，通过直接抓捕、上网追逃等多种手段，先后将该团伙7名成员缉拿归案。在众多铁证面前，何某等人如实交代了犯罪事实。2019年12月，经法院依法判决，该团伙7名成员被判处2年6个月至8年不等的有期徒刑。
勇挑专案做永不卷刃的“重案尖刀”
在全国扫黑除恶专项斗争期间，王贵彬先后参与打掉恶势力犯罪集团4个、恶势力犯罪团伙3个，抓捕涉黑恶犯罪嫌疑人69名，侦破案件145起，有效地震慑了黑恶势力的嚣张气焰。他的辛勤耕耘也迎来了收获，因工作表现突出，王贵彬先后荣获个人三等功2次，个人嘉奖2次。

“我从心底里热爱刑警这份工作，尽管出差、熬夜、加班不少，一忙起来就忘了白天黑夜，但案件最终告破、正义得到伸张之后的那种成就感，让我无比欣慰。”王贵彬说。
如今，新警“小王”慢慢成了追着案子跑的刑警“老王”，有他在的案子，同事都非常踏实，“后勤保障绝对充分，逻辑推演滴水不漏，冲锋抓捕从不懈怠，有了王贵彬，办案省心一半”。
